Pink Baby Card

I was really thinking pink on this one! I wanted to show off another of the new Sizzix embossing folders, and this darling baby carriage just filled the bill for a precious baby card. After I ran it through to emboss the shape, I decided to cut it out, and did a little inking and added the doodle dots for fun. With some pink papers, and a soft ribbon, we can welcome the sweetest little girl.

This would work well for a shower, or as a greeting to mail to the new Mom, perhaps with a gift card enclosed, and tucked under the satin ribbon inside.

I hope this card will be just right for your next baby need.

With Sympathy

When these times come up, we want the appropriate card to convey our feelings of caring and concern. My Sympathy card is embossed acrylic over kraft paper. Only the acrylic is colored, so it floats. The cathedral trim down the left side, as well as all other trim and lettering is dark green. The sheer ribbon and bow are a soft lilac. The pearls add a peaceful elegance that anchors the whole message.

New Arrival

It's Mellow Yellow week at Cuttlebug Challenge, and I created three distinctly diffent cards, all in yellow, to get folks going. Here they are:

This one is a sweet little giraffe from the New Arrival Cricut cartridge welcoming baby, as well as an image stamped on white and matted in yellow, then layered on a horizongal stripe over the soft yellow gingham background. The New Arrival embellishment at the lower right is a metallic piece given to me by a friend. Cute, eh?

Happy Seventh Birthday!

How fun it is to get a card with your special birthday spelled out all over it! This one is for a seven year old, but it could be done for any age. I chose a bright, vibrant yellow, accented with red ribbons and red pen work to make this a real eye-opener. The 7's are heat embossed in clear, making them like glass. The cupcake is embossed to mimic real papers and frosting, and there is plenty of diamond dust to make it all shine! The birthday message comes through loud and clear with the embossing in the lower corner. Happy Birthday to you........

A Sunny Hello

This sunny greeting features layers of crisp white, buttery yellow embossed flowers, then stamped sunflowers. The bow is shimmery and full. The Sunny Hello greeting is in rich chocolate brown. All of the edges are inked to give it dimension, and this card is sure to bring anyone a bit of sunshine.

Make a Wish ...

...and blow out the candles!! This card is certainly unique! The candles are ready to go with gold foil flames, and set atop embossed birthday messages that have been sanded to reveal the words in white. The ribbon spells out Happy Birthday and echoes the birthday hats and balloons of the background paper. This is a fun card for young or young at heart!

Thinking of Ewe!

Perhaps a note to a friend, or a special Valentine's message would be just right for this little Lamb. The bottom section is embossed with tiny hearts, the upper section has glitter and gloss for a really special look. Lambie-pie is embossed with the Cuttlebug to have swirls all over, just like curly wool. The inside of the card is white, so there is plenty of room for your personal message.

Thinking of You

This cheerful little card has a sparkling message to share. The butterfly sits upon a unique fabric-type covering that is lightly touched with prisma glitter. The ribbon is tied with a bow holding the "Thinking of You" chipboard message. Inside is another butterfly, also shimmering with irridescent glitter. (To find out the secret about this fabric, check out BettyBee's Buzz!)

Thank You in Chocolate!

What better way to say "thanks" than with chocolate! The embossed background on this card gives the feeling of rich, dark cocoa, while the pink and flowers carry the Thank You message loud and clear. There are tiny pink gems accenting the swirls and thank you frame. Thank You with a Flourish!!!

Shadow Box Card

This three dimensional card is a lot of fun to make and to receive. It is a standard size card, sent flat, then it pops open and sits up! The bird and branch stamp are set inside, and the bird has been stamped three times, and layered for depth. There is no sentiment on this card, so it could be used for any occasion. I hope you enjoy it.

You Make My Heart Sing

All white elegance makes this Valentine's Card a winner. The corner accents are embossed with Fancy Corners, and the center heart carries the message "You Make My Heart Sing". The corners and the center heart are covered with color changing Kaleidoscope heat activated embossing powder that gives it a shiny glittery finish. The corners and the ribbon "arrow" are accented with flatbacked pearls. The scalloped heart really shines with MS mica! Send a Valentine's message to someone that makes your heart sing!

Happy Birthday

A fun birthday card for celebrating that special day for a special lady! This one has lots of sparkling glitter in the star borders, top and bottom. The additional star also shines with lots of glitter. The tiny stars accent the four corners of the front of the card, and cascade down the right edge of the inside of the card. The red/gold ribbon accent picks up the red (which doesn't show well in the photograph) that outlines the small white flowers on the patterned paper.

Congratulations, Graduate!

This card is a stair-step card, created for a new PhD! The back panel is clear acrylic, and the graduation caps appear to be flying in the air, as if thrown at the ceremony! When folded flat, this card fits into a regular envelope.

Order your stair-step card to celebrate any special event.

Happy Birthday

Swiss Dot Embossing, and Lace Edge punching make this card lots of fun. The bright flowers set off the happy birthday message, and the dotted ribbon echo the raised dots on the lower half. This cheerful card would make anyone's birthday brighter!

Criss-Cross Holder with cards Set

This set is ideal for a gift. The note cards are 3x4, and they tuck nicely inside the matching criss-cross box. They are all decorated with cuttlebug embossing, and lettering that says "Thank You". Springy colors of greens and purples are always uplifting.

Happy Anniversary

This Anniversary card features sanded dry embossing, a stamped tree design, and is accented with "emerald" jewels to celebrate a 35th wedding anniverary. I used copper ink to accent the tree and the lettering. The tree design is repeated on the inside.

I'm having difficulty with this blog! Check out BettyBee's Buzz to see some of my latest cards! This one won't let me upload images tonight!

Happy New Year, one and all!!!
