We have so much in store for you! You won't want to miss it!

Some of the techniques featured will be: heat embossing, dry embossing, eyelet setting with the Crop-O-Dile, Paper Piecing, Constructing a Treat/Party Bag and Topper, Wobblies, a card called Midnight in the Mansion, Making a Box, Stamping, Coloring, and more......

Of course we have goodies and prizes throughout the day!

Project kits will be provided for all of the classes and make-it-take-its. You just bring materials for what you want to crop on your own, as well as your basic tools.

We suggest:

Paper Trimmer, Scissors, Pencil, Black Ink, Brown Ink, Inking Sponges, Wet Glue*, Double Sided Tape*, Scotch Tape, Scoring Board and Bone Folder or Stylus, Fine Line Black Marker.

* If you have questions, or would like to know what brands we personally like the best, please drop us a comment or an email and we'll be happy to help!!

The crop will be held at the Bradenton Country Club, at
4646 9th Avenue, West, in Bradenton, FL 34209.

We will begin at 10:00 and go until 5:00 on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15th. Registration will include a luncheon which is being catered by the chef at the Country Club. You have three menu choices!

Adult Menu

1: Club Sandwich served on a Croissant with Fresh Seasonal Fruit

2: Chicken Salad Croissant (Chunky White Meat seasoned with Curry and Grapes) with Fresh Fruit

3: Spinach Quiche, with Mushrooms and Swiss Cheese, with Fresh Fruit

3: Cheeseburger and French Fries

Coffee and Tea Service included.

It has long been a tradition with our family that we have a Get Well-ephant when someone is in the hospital or home sick for a long time. I have created other things where folks could sign a get well poster, etc., but today's tutorial over at Digital Delights is the first mini album I've created for such a purpose.

It features the delightful Ellie from the Jungle Buddies collection, and is also covered with digital paper that has Miss Ellie all over it.

The inside is a delightful array of squares and triangles that provide a TON of real estate for recording a lot of Get Well love, which we all know is the very best medicine! I hope you will pop over and check it out!

Viva La Divas!

Tiaras, pajamas, massages, "diamond rings', strawberry Belgian waffles, trophies, midnight madness, and ice cream sundaes... Oh, we DO know how to have a Scrapbooking Crop!!!

Another wonderful Cricut Swarm has come and gone....but the memories will last a lifetime. This is the group photo of all of us with our Mini-Me's! Our challenge was to create an 11 1/2" paper doll of ourselves, and these ladies did an awesome job!

These are just a few! It was so much fun recognizing our friends by their characteristics, loves, and expressions of their personalities. There were some serious trophies given for this competition!! (The most coveted pieces of plastic in all of Florida!!!)

Our next surprise was the opportunity to try out the Cricut Cake!!! It was really fun, and we learned a lot about Gum Paste. It was a little bit of a learning curve, but easily handled. It will be a lot more fun to tackle at home.

It wasn't exactly an Ace of Cakes prize winner, but not shabby for a very first attempt! The great part is that there is no waste with the gum paste. I can keep working with it, and make bigger and better decorations every time! This is totally fun!!!

Last, but not least, here are some of us enjoying a wonderful hand wax treatment after having our hands massaged by our friend Pat! Oh, what a treat after a busy scrapping weekend ..... ahhhh! Viva la Divas, forever!!!!

We are already saddling up for our next Round Up....to be held June 25-27, so, if you want to swarm with us, you'd best be a' gettin' ahold of me pretty soon to reserve your spot! She'll be fillin' up, and you'll be out in the cold, pardner!!! Wouldn't want that, ya' hear!!

Awesome New Toys!!

You know, just about every day you have the chance to say "thanks" to someone, but once in a while there comes a time when someone special in your life does something just way beyond wonderful. Those times there just aren't words to say how much this person's kindness and friendship mean ... but you just hope they know. My friend, when you see this card, you will know, won't you? ♥♥♥

This really fun card is done with a great new JustRiteStamps large oval image, which I think is perfect on this cardstock from DCWV Sweet Stack, don't you? The geraniums are colored with Copics, and then dotted with Spica gels. The dots on the scallops are Paper Pearl paint. Isn't that fun? And how about that awesome fringe trim.....score!!! We hit the very best sale at JoAnn's, and we cleaned 'em out at 50 cents a yard! The ribbon is a perfect match, too, and it came from my favorite ribbon outlet in PA....then top the whole thing off with the ideal gems! Ta Daa!

I will have two more posts today....so it will be a busy one :)

Pink Baby Card

I was really thinking pink on this one! I wanted to show off another of the new Sizzix embossing folders, and this darling baby carriage just filled the bill for a precious baby card. After I ran it through to emboss the shape, I decided to cut it out, and did a little inking and added the doodle dots for fun. With some pink papers, and a soft ribbon, we can welcome the sweetest little girl.

This would work well for a shower, or as a greeting to mail to the new Mom, perhaps with a gift card enclosed, and tucked under the satin ribbon inside.

I hope this card will be just right for your next baby need.

A Flower for a Friend

A flower can say so many things, and this one is bringing bring cheerful thoughts from you. The paper is two sided, and is co-ordinated to give a very elegant look to the card. With Sympathy

When these times come up, we want the appropriate card to convey our feelings of caring and concern. My Sympathy card is embossed acrylic over kraft paper. Only the acrylic is colored, so it floats. The cathedral trim down the left side, as well as all other trim and lettering is dark green. The sheer ribbon and bow are a soft lilac. The pearls add a peaceful elegance that anchors the whole message.

New Arrival

It's Mellow Yellow week at Cuttlebug Challenge, and I created three distinctly diffent cards, all in yellow, to get folks going. Here they are:

This one is a sweet little giraffe from the New Arrival Cricut cartridge welcoming baby, as well as an image stamped on white and matted in yellow, then layered on a horizongal stripe over the soft yellow gingham background. The New Arrival embellishment at the lower right is a metallic piece given to me by a friend. Cute, eh?

How fun it is to get a card with your special birthday spelled out all over it! This one is for a seven year old, but it could be done for any age. I chose a bright, vibrant yellow, accented with red ribbons and red pen work to make this a real eye-opener. The 7's are heat embossed in clear, making them like glass. The cupcake is embossed to mimic real papers and frosting, and there is plenty of diamond dust to make it all shine! The birthday message comes through loud and clear with the embossing in the lower corner. Happy Birthday to you........

A Sunny Hello

This sunny greeting features layers of crisp white, buttery yellow embossed flowers, then stamped sunflowers. The bow is shimmery and full. The Sunny Hello greeting is in rich chocolate brown. All of the edges are inked to give it dimension, and this card is sure to bring anyone a bit of sunshine.

The candles are ready to go with gold foil flames, and set atop embossed birthday messages that have been sanded to reveal the words in white. The ribbon spells out Happy Birthday and echoes the birthday hats and balloons of the background paper. This is a fun card for young or young at heart!

This little Sunflower Pop-Up is waiting for the right information to know if it is an invitation, a birthday message, a get well card, or cheering up someone's day note.

This version was an invitation to a back yard Barbecue for Labor Day, including the grill with the "red hot" coals! The invitation information is stamped on the pull tab, and the reveal that opens on the bottom. This is a very popular interactive card. It also mades a delightful birthday card idea for children. We love anything with moving parts!

Thanks for coming to my new blog! This is my second blog, and one dedicated to my card making venture. I love to make cards, and have now found a clientele for many of them, as well as a very enthusiastic group of friends who encourage me to find outlets for marketing them. With this in mind, I have decided to create this new blog which will feature my designs so they are easier to locate, catalog, and customers can place orders.

Family photos, info and news will still be posted on the other blog, as well as craft projects and other things that I find myself involved with. Please keep checking there as well. Both blogs will be linked one to another. You will also have the opportunity to subscribe so that you will receive an email when I post a new entry, if you are interested.

All of my cards are for sale, come with clear mailing envelopes, and most are just $3.00, with occasional more elaborate cards, or custom orders being a bit more. So you see that they are reasonable, saving you money, and a trip to the store! If you wish to have cards shipped, I will ship them USPS, and will send them the most cost effective way possible within your time needs.

I will be happy to do special orders, and will be posting a "menu" of special order ideas, such as shower and party invitations, wedding invitations, special event fliers, birth announcements, and much more.
